Look It…Meaning “It’s Important”

I’m originally from North Carolina, and had never heard the phrase, “Look it”.
But a friend of mine I worked with in market regulation, many, many moons ago, who was from Pennsylvania, and would ALWAYS start important explanations with the phrase.
“Look it, we need to do this…and this…and this.” It was the precursor, the kickoff of the conversation. You always knew something good was coming when Bob started out…”Look it…”
Some stock indicators are like the phrase, Look it. They aren’t the “go” signal, the buy here or sell here. They’re the: Hey, the stock is now in this position, you may want to take a look and possibly do X or Y…possibly not.
They are super important because they’re very good at pointing to something…maybe the actual buy or sell setup. Without them a stock chart can be like reading a map with no labels.
(It’s like an explanation from Bob with no “Look it” at the beginning…you just don’t pay as much attention.)
And, they often get overlooked because they’re very simple.
Look it, we’re talking about these very simple but extremely important indicators this week in our little trading group.
